Auf dem Vorsatz befindet sich zudem ein handschriftlicher Besitzvermerk aus Schwyz aus dem Jahre 1828 von einem Karl von Euw, ebenfalls Philosophiestudent. -- Joseph Widmer war ein Schweizer römisch-katholischer Theologe und Hochschullehrer.
