Er war mit der Amerikanerin Norma Lorenzer verheiratet. Diese war eine enge Freundin und wichtige Bezugsperson von Liesl Karstadt. Raimund Lorenzer stand zudem auf einer Notfallkontaktliste von Karl Valentin.
