The product is an original document of the 1808 King George III Act permitting the sell of the Danish ship The Constantia Maria and her cargo in the port of Fowey in Cornwall. The ships goods were then sold in London by the East India Dock Company, dating from 1808. This historical document, originating from England, but printed in Dublin by the kings printer George Grierson, is a first edition act describing the selling of a ship captured in the Gunboat War of the Napoleonic Wars. Written in English and made of parchment, this unique piece of history sheds light on a significant period in British and European history. Reasonable offers accepted.
