Extremely rare Colorado Milling and Elevator Company stock certificate #682 for 23 shares, dated June 7, 1915. Two nice vignettes of Hungarian Mill and Crescent Mill both in Denver, CO. Certificate is stamped "cancelled". Original signature of J. K. Mullen, President and the Secretary. Two folds, otherwise in very good condition. Stub attached. John Kernan (J.K.) Mullen (1847–1929) was a prominent Denver businessman and philanthropist who established the Colorado Milling and Elevator Company in 1885. He dominated the Western flour industry, operating numerous mills and, by 1911, managed 91 elevators/warehouses across Colorado, Kansas, Utah, and Oregon.
